The 20th DGZfP seminar "Current issues in radiographic testing and radiation protection" took place in Leipzig on 7 March 2024. GfR was represented by its managing directors Thorsten Flor and Björn Hansen.
The seminar section on radiographic testing focussed on various interesting applications of artificial intelligence and the digital transformation of NDT.
The radiation protection part of the seminar showed, among other things, solution approaches for the fulfilment of requirements for basic IT protection and burglary protection in the context of the SEWD directive.
The meeting of the "Radiation protection and transport of radioactive materials" expert committee had already taken place the day before. Here, too, numerous current issues relating to radiation protection were discussed.
In addition, both events provided numerous opportunities for professional dialogue in personal discussions.
